Carrie Cullen is a storyteller and climate justice advocate passionate about igniting intersectional, systematic change through creative media. In her career, Carrie has supported a diverse range of nonprofits to build power through community organizing, content creation, and strategic communications. Alongside incredible activists from across the country, she has worked on progressive campaigns in the areas of climate justice, voter mobilization, regenerative agriculture, animal welfare, and food justice in mediums ranging from social media content to documentary.
Most recently before joining Resource Media, Carrie managed communications and trained a network of students at Our Climate, a grassroots organization mobilizing youth activists to advance climate justice legislation. Through this experience, she saw the power of media to spur global movements and learned the ins and outs of climate justice policy. Carrie holds a BFA in Visual Media Arts and Environmental Studies from Emerson College, where her love for activism and legislative advocacy began.
