Adam is a communications strategist and storyteller with deep expertise in the nonprofit sector. He has built the capacity of organizations and coalitions for well over a decade, helping them to mobilize communities, advocate for policies and foster more connected workplaces. Adam’s passion is understanding audiences and creating cross-platform experiences that change hearts and minds. His practice areas include strategy, message and story development; communications planning; issue advocacy; traditional media relations; digital and social media management; marketing; branding and visual communications.
Before joining Resource Media, Adam was the director of strategic communications at SPIN, one of Pennsylvania’s leading providers of intellectual disability and early childhood services. His re-branding strategy earned the organization top workplace awards, overflow program enrollment and corporate partnerships, including the first-ever Wawa Foundation Hero Award and the launch of the Comcast Disability Digital Literacy Lab. While at SPIN, his advocacy communications work brought national visibility to workforce development and disability inclusion issues.
In previous roles, Adam implemented donor engagement and planned giving marketing strategies at The Philadelphia Foundation, and managed marketing communications and social media at Congreso de Latinos Unidos, Philadelphia’s premiere Latinx-serving human services agency. He has also held leadership roles on the boards of LGBT and immigrant rights groups.
Adam earned a BA in German Studies and Anthropology from Cornell University and was a 2011 fellow with the former Center for Progressive Leadership.
