Like you, we are passionate about protecting the well being of people and the planet. Our focus on conservation and public health—along with years in the trenches—has enabled Resource Media to hone a deep understanding of the opportunities and barriers to change.
Conservation and health will never rank as priorities unless voters and consumers understand the benefits to their families, communities and pocketbooks. Resource Media staff can quote the 1872 Mining Law chapter and verse, but even more important is their ability to explain why it’s a bad deal for taxpayers, hunters, hikers, and everyone that lives downstream.
In an era of economic uncertainty and information overload, smart communications are vital to campaign success. Resource Media staff are reading news and blog coverage about your issue every day. They know the reporters that matter, the influencers that shape the public discourse, the language that resonates, and the tools to reach people. And, they can turn on a dime when an opportunity or crisis arises, from extreme weather as a hook for climate research, to green building benchmarks, to legislative action on the Farm Bill.
We work across a broad, diverse and constantly evolving spectrum of conservation and public health issues. On this site, our work is organized by five categories: land, water, climate, energy and health. But the world doesn’t usually fit so neatly into categories, so don’t hesitate to get in touch if you aren’t sure where your project might fit. We would love to strategize with you!
