Belinda's experience as a direct action campaigner, journalist, and lawyer/mediator makes her appreciate the power of both the inside and the outside games. With over two decades of progressive communications work under her belt, including 13 at Resource Media and 10 in racial justice organizing and electoral campaigning, she is even more fired up to build a just and sustainable world.
Belinda specializes in anti-racist work for historically-white-led conservation organizations, as well as in power mapping, communications for coalitions, public opinion research, and evidence-based approaches to messaging and framing. She is passionate about building organizational, personal, and community resilience as we push for a just transition in our movements and economies. Belinda lives on Snohomish lands in Western Washington, and has recently been honored to work on Indigenous-led river and salmon campaigns throughout the Pacific Northwest.
