Upworthy: What it takes to make good content go viral

Upworthy is social media with a mission. The smart folks there scour the world wide web for content that is both meaningful and awesome, and use their email list and social platforms to spread them far and wide. How do they do it? CTO Tim Jones dishes on their process at Web of Change this year. The secret sauce? Testing and more testing. They write 25 headlines for every story, and move buttons, images, and links around constantly to find the arrangement that maximizes clicks. Check out his Ignite talk for more:
