Omar is a technology professional with a focus on the intersection of people and information systems. He has a wide range of technical literacy, considering himself a jack of all trades. From Cloud infrastructure to digital manufacturing, Omar immerses himself in the newest and coolest technologies. Currently he specializes in creating Salesforce technologies for nonprofit organizations. His mission is to produce accessible technological solutions to people of all walks of life and to use these solutions to empower and support nonprofits in delivering their mission.
Omar carried his love and curiosity of technology to Washington State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Information Systems and was the President of the Information Systems Club. He began his career as a Software Engineer working with cutting edge Cloud technologies, before moving to the nonprofit sector by teaching STEAM and Digital Manufacturing to the community. A highlight in Omar’s career was producing the 2017 Nashville Mini Maker Faire bringing together over 4,000 makers and enthusiasts. When he’s not behind a computer screen, he likes to hit the trails and capture the great outdoors on video.
